New, used and reconditioned pallets
What each grade means in practice, and when each one is the sensible buy.
New pallets are unused, consistent in appearance and dimension, and the usual choice where the pallet is seen by a customer or has to run through automated handling.
Used pallets are serviceable pallets that have already been in circulation. They are the lowest cost option and suit internal movements and cost-led outbound loads.
Reconditioned pallets have been inspected and repaired to a consistent standard, sitting between the two on both cost and appearance. Availability of used and reconditioned grades varies with what is in stock.
